Professional profile
Researcher at Universidad del Pacífico Research Center and Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at the same University. He is Ph.D. in Economics from Rutgers University and a Bachelor in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico. Currently, his research areas are international economics, macroeconomics, fiscal policy and political economy. He has been a visiting Researcher at the Federal Reserve of Atlanta (Georgia, United States), where he received in 2015 the annual distinction for the best doctoral dissertation on topics related to Latin America. He previously worked in the Office of Evaluation and Supervision of the Inter-American Development Bank (Washington DC, United States), and in the Peruvian Institute of Economics.
