Professional profile

Associate Dean of the School of Law of Universidad del Pacífico and Full-time professor in the Department Law. Doctor of Law from the University of Edinburgh (scholarship holder in that institution), Master of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Amsterdam (NUFFIC scholarship holder) and Lawyer and Bachelor of Science from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. In addition, he is an Australian Lawyer (Australian Lawyer and Officer of the Supreme Court of Victoria) and, between 2018 and 2020, he was a Solicitor for the Supreme Court of the State of Queensland. 

At a professional level, he has served, among others, as president of the OEFA Environmental Control Court, Vice President of the Permanent Committee for Standardization of INACAL, and Legal Adviser (e) of the Secretary General of the Andean Community. He also has experience in legal advice at the Environmental Defenders Office of Northern Queensland (community center for legal aid on environmental issues in Australia). Finally, in addition to teaching, he works as a member of the Dispute Resolution Tribunal of OSITRÁN and of the Dumping, Subsidies and Elimination of Non-Tariff Trade Barriers Commission of INDECOPI.
