Full Professor of the Department of Economics and Associate Dean of the School of Economics and Finance of Universidad del Pacífico. He has a DPhil (Ph.D.) in International Development from the University of Oxford and an MSc Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He has a Bachelor's degree and a Licentiate (professional license) in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico. His research work focuses on child development, skills training, education, and applied microeconometrics. He has various publications associated with these topics and has been a consultant for institutions such as the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the Department for International Development of the United Kingdom, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Development and Social Inclusion and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Peru.
