Professional profile

Associate Professor of the Department of Engineering of Universidad del Pacífico and Researcher at CIUP. She has a Doctorate and a Licentiate (professional license) in Physical Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA-Argentina). She has extensive teaching experience, she has taught several courses in the area of Higher Laboratories in the Department of Physics of the School of Exact and Natural Sciences of Universidad de Buenos Aires, and has been an interim professor within the Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires, dependent on the UBA. She was also in charge of teaching the Mathematics and Physics courses corresponding to the International Baccalaureate (IB) at the Bede's Grammar School (Buenos Aires) and at the British Peruvian School (CPB-Lima). In the field of research, she has worked for several years in the Solid Lasers Division at DEILAP, CONICET headquarters. Within the Photonics area, she was dedicated to the study of the generation of structural color in a species of beetle endemic to southern Argentina and Chile. She has been President of the UBA chapter of the International Society for Optical Engineering, Vice President of the UBA chapter of the Optical Society of America and a member of the Asociación Física Argentina. In addition, she has served as a meritorious student in the Solid Lasers Division of the Center for Research in Lasers and Applications (CEILAP), and the Institute for Scientific and Technical Research of the Armed Forces (CITEFA- CONICET- UNSAM).
