Dr. Rubiños is an Assistant Professor in the Academic Department of Marketing and International Business and a Member of the Research Center at the Universidad del Pacífico. She holds a Ph.D. in Sustainability and a Master's Degree in Sustainability Sciences from Arizona State University (United States), and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the Universidad del Pacífico.

She has completed complementary studies on environmental issues through the Latin American and Caribbean Environmental Economics Program (LACEEP), Cambridge University, University of Córdoba, Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina, the UN, and EU-CAN Cooperation. She has been Head of the Department of Economic Studies at Peru's Association of Exporters (ADEX), where she participated in the trade agreement negotiation processes between Peru and the United States, the European Union, Japan, Korea, and Mexico, among others. She has also worked at Arizona State University's Center for Behavior, Institutions, and the Environment as a Postgraduate Research Associate and, in parallel, has conducted several studies for WWF–Peru, Grütter Consulting–Switzerland, the Regional Government of Loreto, SERFOR–CAF, and others. Her current research focuses on the intersection between international business and sustainability.

Sustainability and international business, tourism, common resources and collective action, institutional analysis of socio-ecological systems, resilience, forest sector, and management of water resources for agriculture.
