He holds studies for the Doctorate in Economic Sciences from the University of Paris and a Licentiate (professional license) in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico. Former Vice Minister of International Economy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru, decorated with the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit for Distinguished Services to the Nation. Author of several publications, in the country and abroad, on issues of international trade and investment, trade agreements and economic integration processes, Effie 2008 (2009), among others.
