In addition, many factors influence the decision of which ERP to choose (economic, technological, etc.). This article proposes a methodology based on Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) and Fuzzy Inference Systems (FIS), to obtain a better selection of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The company, which will acquire the software, bases this selection on its own imposed criteria and ERP alternatives based on information from some suppliers. To select the mostappropriate ERP, AHP was initially used. Then, through a FIS, the selected ERP is evaluated to find out if it is in accordance with the financial and operational performance of the business.
