Full Professor of the Department of Humanities, ascribed to the School of Business. She holds a Doctoral degree in History from Universidad de Navarra and a Doctoral degree in Hispanic Philology from UNED (Spain). She has a Licentiate (professional license) in Linguistics and Literature with a minor in Hispanic Literatures from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She has been awarded the Extraordinary Research Award 2013-1014, granted by the UNED, Madrid (Spain). She is a member of the Universidad del Pacífico Research Center, where she directs the project "Indian Studies" (www.estudiosindianos.org), which develops initiatives related to the management and dissemination of the textual and artistic heritage of the colonial period in coordination with the Center for Indian Studies (CEI) from the University of Navarra (Spain). She is also co-director of the Center for Indian Studies at Universidad de Navarra. She is a member of the International Association of Hispanists (AIH) and the Golden Century Association (AISO). Her areas of specialization revolve around Colonial Literature (16th, 17th and 18th centuries), sacred and devotional literature, colonial lyric, textual criticism (ecdotic), metric and rhythmic, morphology, syntax and academic writing. At Universidad del Pacífico she teaches compulsory courses: Leveling in Language, Language I and Language II; and the elective Literature and Society in the Spanish and Hispano-American Golden Age.
