He has been a researcher at the Michel Henry Fund of the Catholic University of Louvain, the Ethics Center of Universidad del Pacífico and the Bartolome de las Casas Institute (Lima). He has been in charge of courses in language, literature and philosophy at Universidad del Pacífico and at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, as well as various class sessions on philosophy and literature at the Catholic University of Louvain. His areas of specialization revolve around the relationships between aesthetics, ethics and literature in dialogue with French phenomenology (Emmanuel Levinas, Paul Ricœur, Michel Henry). His research follows two lines of interdisciplinary work. On one hand, it is about using conceptual tools of phenomenology to address issues such as vulnerability, narration and erotic experience in debate with the perspective of human development and the ethics of capabilities. On the other hand, the contribution of phenomenology is oriented to issues of philology and literary theory with a particular interest in contemporary French, Belgian and Peruvian writers. He is the author of the books "La métaphore chez Levinas. Une philosophie de la vulnérabilité" - Bruselas, 2012 - and "Sombras y rostros del Otro en la narrativa de José María Arguedas. Una lectura desde la filosofía de Emmanuel Levinas" - Lima, 2007 -, besides of many articles in specialized magazines.
