Professional profile

Dr. Rematozo is a Full Professor and Chair of the Academic Department of Law and Member of the Research Center at the Universidad del Pacífico. She holds a Doctorate in Law from the Scuola Superiore di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento Sant'Anna di Pisa (Italy) and a Law Degree from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Peru).

She received a Postdoctoral Fellowship from the Université de Genève (Switzerland) for her research on private law issues. She has also been a Visiting Researcher in the International Sports Law Centre at the T.M.C. Asser Instituut (Netherlands) and at the LIDER-Lab at the Scuola Sant'Anna di Pisa, as well as a Research Fellow at the Università degli Studi di Genova (Italy).

Dr Rematozo has received anti-doping training led by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) for legal areas and members of courts and panels. Further areas of study include economic analysis of law applied to private law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), arbitration issues at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and university teaching at Johns Hopkins University (on-line study program).
She is currently Acting Chair of the Continental Results Management Panel for the Americas under the World Anti-Doping Agency (independent panel–international level) as well as Acting Chair of the Disciplinary Panel of the National Anti-Doping Commission (independent panel–national level), and has previously served as Member and of the Anti-Doping Tribunal of the Regional Anti-Doping Organization for South America (ORAD-SAM). She has also provided private advisory services on sports law.
