Trust and trustworthiness in college : an experimental analysis

Resumen

Se utiliza datos experimentales para examinar el efecto de la etnicidad (extranjera, indígena y mestiza) y el género en la confianza y confiabilidad en el Perú. En comparación con el grupo extranjero, se encontró que el grupo indígena es más confiable (discriminación positiva), mientras que el grupo mestizo es menos confiable (discriminación negativa). Del mismo modo, los sujetos retribuyen más cuando un varón actúa como su contraparte. Analizamos si la capacidad cognitiva, Modelo de los cinco grandes y la escala de orientación de dominancia social (SODS) pueden predecir la confianza y la confiabilidad. Por lo tanto, el puntaje de la Prueba de Reacción Cognitiva está correlacionado positivamente con la confianza, mientras que el promedio acumulativo de calificaciones de la universidad está correlacionado negativamente con la confiabilidad. Se encontró que el neuroticismo se correlaciona con el comportamiento de confianza, mientras que el SODS está (negativamente) correlacionado con la relación de confianza.
