A Professor in the Academic Department of Law and Member of the Research Center at the Universidad del Pacífico, Dr. Bendezú holds a Doctorate in Law from the Universidad Pompeu Fabra, (Spain), a Magister in Legal Specialization and Research from the Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain), and Bachelor's and Licentiate degrees from the Universidad Católica Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo  (Peru). She is a former recipient of the Carolina Foundation scholarship.
Dr. Bendezú is an External Postdoctoral Researcher in the Economic–Business Criminal Law Research Group, led by criminal law professors at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra.

Her academic articles include  “Nociones Básicas Sobre las Políticas Empresariales como Fundamento del Déficit de Organización en la Responsabilidad Penal de las Personas Jurídicas” (2023) and “¿Pueden Delinquir Dolosamente las Empresas?: Actual Estado de la Discusión Sobre el Dolo de las Personas Jurídicas en la Doctrina Española” (2021), among other publications.
