Professional profile

Dr. Carrión Caravedo is an Associate Professor in the Academic Department of Humanities and Coordinator of the Francisco Tumi Language Laboratory at the Universidad del Pacífico. She holds a Doctorate in Philosophy from UNED Madrid, as well as a Magister, a Licentiate, and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Dr. Carrión has had essays, book chapters, and academic articles published in specialized journals. In addition, she has given numerous presentations at philosophy conferences in Peru and abroad. Her main research interests revolve around the thought of Heraclitus and Nietzsche. 

At the Universidad del Pacífico, Dr. Carrión serves as coordinator and professor of the Philosophy course; she is also in charge of the Remedial Course in Language and the Language II course. Her teaching experience spans various subjects at other universities at the undergraduate, master, and doctoral levels. She also has extensive experience in leading writing workshops for for-profit and non-profit organizations, as well as in copyediting and proofreading.
