Resumen
Research studies of the coexistence, conflict and bargaining relationships developed between the Moche and the neighboring communities of the high Andes. This is the case of groups that migrated from the regions of Recuay, Cajamarca and Huamachuco, up to temperate climate zones of the high valleys of Moche, Santa and Nepeña at the beginning of the Early Intermediate Period (100?300 A.d.), or those who participated in ceremonies in the Valley of Jequetepeque in later periods (700-1000 ad). The book includes close to eighty pieces that include ceramic jars, monoliths and metal objects from the Pre-Hispanic cultures of the Mochica, Recuay and Cajamarca. The pieces are from the holdings of the MALI, Museo Larco, Museo Nacional de Arqueología, Antropología e Historia del Perú, Programa Arqueológico San José de Moro-PUCP, Proyecto Arqueológico Huacas del Sol y de la Luna, and the private collection Rodríguez Razzetto-Figuerola.
