Resumen
This paper is a research proposal to investigate the relationship between Interpersonal Trust, Reciprocity Norm and the intention to share knowledge amongst faculty members in the context of Universities. Although there is abundant research concluding about the importance of knowledge as a key resource to build organizational knowledge to obtain sustainable advantages as well as the need for knowledge sharing within organizations, there is still need to carry theory into practice. Although universities fit in the definition of a knowledge-intensive organization, it is observed minimum or no practices of knowledge sharing. Based on the literature review, two hypotheses are proposed linking the three proposed constructs.
