Abstract

For the study and analysis of the state of air pollution in Lima (Peru), we implemented the regional weather prediction model with the online chemical coupling (WRF-Chem). We compared and validated the results with the experimental measurements taken at ten monitoring stations that belong to the National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology (SENAMHI). This research shows the behavior of air pollution by particulate matter (PM10) during 21 days of summer and 21 days of winter during 2017. The results show an increase of that pollutant during the winter period. We also analyzed meteorological variables of significant impact on that pollutant.
