Abstract

The article reviews the critical and creative reception (specifically literary reception) of Fernando Pessoa’s work in contemporary Peru, since the 1970’s until 2019. Landmarks of this reception are the book Pessoa & Compañía (1993), in which André Coyné, Marco Martos, Camilo Torres and Ricardo González Vigil collaborated; the series of lectures The paper keeper. From archive to edition given by Jerónimo Pizarro (2011); Pessoa’s 35 Sonnets translated by Jorge Wiesse Rebagliati (2014); and Pessoa by Wong (2018), a book of poetic texts by Julia Wong.
