Abstract

In this article, under the premise of the importance of trade in our society, the author makes an exhaustive analysis of the Dispute Settlement Mechanism (DSM) of the World Trade Organization. It also details the advantages of the Dispute Settlement Understanding (DSU) and the access of developing countries to this mechanism. Finally, she concludes by making it clear that although the DSM has brought enormous benefits, compliance with the cases is essential to achieve an efficient and equitable system for all countries.
