Abstract

Slavery was the easiest form to obtain free labor. With certain masquerades, slavery still exist in some places of the Earth today. Its origin is too early. In the Modern Era, slavery was identified with African slavery. Many books have already been written concerning this matter. However, about the Peruvian case, there is not enough specific studies but, also, general evaluations referred to this phenomenon. In this paper, the author wants to summarize and evaluate the importance of this system in Colonial Peru. In this epoch, the slavery not only affected African people but Asiatic, Moorish and Indigenous.
