Instant deliveries: A Latin America overview

Abstract

This paper contributes with an overview of Brazil and Peru instant deliveries according to new forms of distributing different products focus on urban freight describing the customer profile and digital platforms consumers use. Customers currently demand new ways to receive or deliver products; thus, through mobile applications (app’s), customers have tools to improve interaction with commerce or solve your necessities. Although technology helps improve quality of life, not knowing the current situation can be harmful in traffic and could increase safety issues. For these reasons, this research performed a product analysis, consumers demand and instant deliveries impact. A dataset of 558 consumers in Brazil and Peru were collected. This project proposes public policies and guidelines for regulating this emergence delivery services.
