Abstract
The goal of this paper is to analyze the institutional, educational and space-related complexity of agricultural orientation in La Pampa (Argentina) between 1952 and 1959. In this way, and using little explored sources, we will demonstrate that the initiatives implemented in this period were part of an official agenda previously defined in a context of agri-ecological crisis. This in turn will help us explain the role that the new institutions assumed in the state formation period, and the concrete actions that were taken to address the main problems in agri-production in a marginal space.
