Researcher at Universidad del Pacífico Research Center and Professor in the Department of Finance . He has a Doctorate in Economic and Business Sciences with a specialty in Financial Economics from the University of Barcelona (Spain), a Master’s degree in Economics from Maastricht University (Holland) and a Licentiate (professional license) in Business Administration from Universidad del Pacífico. Professor Mongrut has conducted research at the National Opinion Research Center (NORC) at the University of Chicago. He currently works as a finance Professor at the Graduate School of Business Administration and Management (EGADE) of Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico), as well as a member of the Universidad del Pacífico Research Center (Peru) and a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI) of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONACYT) of Mexico. Likewise, he has been director of the Environmental and Sustainability Management Accounting Network - America (EMAN-AM), holder of the research chair Management Models for Entrepreneurship at Tecnológico de Monterrey and member of the research group for uncertainty (IAFI) of the University of Barcelona (Spain). Dr. Mongrut has been a visiting Professor at more than 20 universities in Latin America and Europe and is the author of more than 100 research and outreach articles in the areas of startup finance, finance for emerging markets, and sustainable finance.
