Associate Professor of the Department of Management of Universidad del Pacífico. Professor and Researcher at the School of Public Management. He is Ph.D. in Social and Political Sciences, and M.Sc. in International Public Policies and Globalization (United Kingdom); M.Sc. in Comparative Law, Economics and Finance from the University College of Turin (Italy); Master in Law with a mention in Civil and Commercial Law from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos; Lawyer and Bachelor of Law and Political Science from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. He has been a Visiting Scholar at the Institute for Global Law and Policy at Harvard University and a Fellow at the Summer School in Social Science at the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton. He has published scientific articles on issues of environmental policy, human rights, extractive industries and indigenous peoples in international journals such as World Development, Third World Quarterly, Leiden Journal of International Law, Environmental Policy and Governance, Oxford Development Studies, among others. He is the author of the book Socio-legal Struggles for Indigenous Self-determination in Latin America: Reimagining the Nation, Reinventing the state, published by Routledge. He has been Director of Strategic Management in the National Environmental Certification Service for Sustainable Investments (SENACE) and general coordinator in the Environmental Assessment and Enforcement Agency (OEFA), in addition to holding various coordination and advisory positions in the public and private sectors, and act as a consultant for public and private entities and international organizations.
