Overview

Professional profile

Full Professor in the Department of Economics and member of the Research Center at Universidad del Pacífico. He earned his PhD in Mathematics from the Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada (IMPA) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and holds both a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (Peru).

He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Instituto de Matemática y Ciencias Afines (IMCA). His research lies at the intersection of Functional Analysis and Convex Analysis, with a strong focus on monotone operator theory. More recently, his work has explored predator–prey dynamical systems, generalized Nash equilibrium problems, and ordinal games through a variational perspective.

He is part of IMCA's Optimization Group, where he previously served as a researcher, and has also been a full-time professor at the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (Peru).
