Professor Researcher in the Department of Economics of Universidad del Pacífico and a member of the Research Center (CIUP). He has a Doctorate in Mathematics from the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IMPA) of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), a Master of Science with a major in Applied Mathematics from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería and a Licentiate (professional license) in Mathematics also from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería. He has also done a postdoctoral stay at the Institute of Mathematics and Related Sciences (IMCA). He has experience in the areas of Functional Analysis and Convex Analysis, applied to the theory of Monotone Operators. His research aims to look for properties of these operators in Banach spaces that are not necessarily reflective. In addition, he has been the Peruvian scientific coordinator of the project “Variational Analysis and its applications to optimization, monotone operators, convex analysis, and Nash equilibrium problems” within the framework of the MATH-AmSud regional collaboration program France - South America. Currently, he is preparing a theoretical study about generalized monotony (quasi-monotony and pseudo-monotony). He is currently a member of the Optimization Group of the Institute of Mathematics and Related Sciences (IMCA). He previously served as a researcher at IMCA and a full-time Professor at Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (Peru).
