Professor of the Department of Social and Political Sciences of Universidad del Pacífico and Researcher at the Research Center of the same University He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Labor Relations from Cornell University (United States) and a Bachelor’s degree and Licentiate (professional license) in Sociology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has experience as a professor in charge of courses on Academic Research, Human Resources and Sociology of Organizations. His current research focuses on the intersection of the sociology of work and organizations. He has published articles on the dynamics of mining work in Latin America in different peer-reviewed journals in the United States and Europe. In addition, he has edited a book on labor studies in Peru. He is currently developing research on academic work and human resource management in Peruvian universities. He is a member of the ALAST (Latin American Association for Labor Studies) and the Latin American Studies Association (LASA).
