Professional profile

Full-time Professor in the Department of Law and Researcher at the Universidad del Pacífico Research Center. She has a Master's degree in Environmental Management (M.E.M.) with a major in Environmental Policy Analysis from Yale University, School of Forestry and Environmental Studies (United States), and is a lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. In addition, she has completed postgraduate studies in Forest Resource Conservation at Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. She specializes in Environmental Governance, with special emphasis on the sustainability of Chinese investments in Latin America and disaster risk reduction. She served as a fellow in the area of Governance for the World Wide Fund for Nature - Beijing (China) and developed recommendations for the institutional improvement of the disaster risk management system in relation to the Coastal El Niño Phenomenon in 2017. She was a Fulbright scholar 2016-2019. She has been a specialist in performance evaluation for public officials in the environmental, agricultural and local government sectors, among others. Previously, she worked as an associate at Estudio Hernández & amp; Inc. Lawyers, being in charge of supervising compliance with environmental obligations in infrastructure projects, manufacturing, agroindustry, among others. Additionally, she worked for the Admissions and Student Services area of the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
