Full Professor and Researcher at Universidad del Pacífico Research Center. She has a Doctorate in Anthropology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, a Master’s degree in Communication Strategies from Universidad de Lima and a Licentiate (professional license) in Sociology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She has worked as a researcher and consultant for various national and foreign institutions. She has been a visiting Professor at universities in France, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. She has been a Professor at the Diplomatic Academy of Peru and of postgraduate degrees at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and Universidad del Pacífico. She has been a consultant for the IADB, APOYO Opinion y Mercado, the Latin American Association of Promotion Organizations (ALOP, for its initial in Spanish), and the Latin American Federation of Social Communication Faculties (FELAFACS). For several years she has been a columnist for the editorial page of the El Comercio newspaper and the author of books and essays on gender and discrimination. At present she is a commissioner of the Ethics Committee of the National Society of Radio and Television of Peru, a member of the Editorial Committee of the Latin American Journal of Studies on Bodies, Emotions and Society (RELACES); member of the Latin American Association of Researchers in Communication (ALAIC), of the Latin American Studies Association (LASA) and of the Thematic Network of transdisciplinary studies of the body and corporalities (Mexico).
