Researcher affiliate at the Center for China and Asia-Pacific Studies at Universidad del Pacifico. PhD candidate in International Politics at Fudan University (Shanghai, China) and master’s degree in international relations from Peking University (Beijing, China). He has worked on research projects on South-South cooperation, economic development in middle-income countries, Chinese foreign policy, and Sino-Latin American relations. This includes publications in the journal Third World Quarterly and book chapters. His professional experience also includes consultancy reports for the Friedrich-Ebert

Foundation and Universidad del Pacifico. Currently, his research focuses on the growing presence of Chinese construction companies in the Global South, particularly the main drivers explaining their spatial distribution.
