Director of the Research Center and Full Professor at the School of Economics of Universidad del Pacífico and Researcher in the Area of Economics of Natural Resources and Environment at CIUP. Ph.D. in the Agricultural and Natural Resources Economics Program at the University of Connecticut, United States. Master in Economics of Natural Resources and the Environment by the Joint Program of Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia) and the University of Maryland (USA), as well as Specialist in Social Evaluation of Projects by Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia). She has a Licentiate (professional license) from the School of Economics of Universidad del Pacífico. Currently her research is focused on issues related to the efficient use of agricultural information, the management of solid waste and the economic valuation of natural resources. She has conducted research on issues related to disaster risk management and public investment, as well as natural resource management and climate change. Her works have been published as scholarly articles and books, as well as reports and consulting reports. She has been a consultant in her areas of specialization for the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of the Environment, as well as for International Cooperation institutions such as the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), among other institutions.
