Research Affiliate at the Universidad del Pacífico Research Center. He holds a Doctoral degree in Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Connecticut (USA) and a Master’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the Joint Program of Universidad de Los Andes (Colombia) and the University of Maryland. (USA). His fields of interest are environmental, agricultural and natural resource economics, as well as development economics. He is specialized in quantitative studies related to productivity and efficiency, economic valuation of environmental goods and services, impact assessment of natural disasters, economics of solid waste management, and impact assessment of public policies. He has consulted on topics of interest to him for FAO, MEF, INIA and other national and international institutions, as well as had publications on these topics.
