Full Professor in the Department of Business Administration at Universidad del Pacífico. She has a Doctorate in Administration from Kobe University (Japan), a Master’s degree in Administration from Yokohama National University (Japan), and a Licentiate (professional license) in Economics from Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina. She has been a visiting Researcher at Keio Business School (Yokohama, Japan) and at the Central Association of Japanese Industries (Chubu Sangyo Renmei, Nagoya). She has studied export business at the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and undergone job training in foreign trade at Pioneer International of Japan (Tokyo), under the supervision of the Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS). She has also carried out studies in the promotion of consulting services for small and medium-sized enterprises at Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and in Total Quality at The Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) in Osaka. She has experience in issues related to exports, consulting services for small businesses, total quality and quality of working life. She worked as deputy manager of exports in the company Sakata Ingenieros, was a financial analyst in the Directorate of Financial Research and Development of the Ministry of Economy and Finance. She has been Associate Dean of the School of Business of Universidad del Pacífico and president of the Planning Commission of the same University. She has been president of APEBENI, the Peruvian Association of Nikkei Alumni of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and Treasurer of Kenshu Kiokay of Peru (the AOTS association of ex-scholars of Japan).
