Professional profile
Assistant Professor in the Department Law, Dean of the School of Law, and member of the research center of the Universidad del Pacífico. Ph.D. from the University of Edinburgh (scholarship holder in that institution), Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Amsterdam () and Lawyer and Bachelor of Laws from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. In addition, he is an Australian Lawyer and Officer of the Supreme Court of Victoria and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland (2018; non-practising).
Professionally, he has served, among other roles, as president of the Environmental Oversight Tribunal of the OEFA, vice president of the Permanent Standardization Committee of INACAL, and legal advisor to the Secretary General of the Andean Community. He also has experience providing legal counsel at the Environmental Defenders Office of Northern Queensland (a community-based legal aid center for environmental issues in Australia).
Finally, in addition to his teaching duties, he serves as a member and vice-chair of the Commission on Dumping, Subsidies, and the Elimination of Non-Tariff Trade Barriers at INDECOPI.
