Professional profile

Full Professor at Universidad del Pacífico. He has a Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) from Yale Law School (United States) and is a Lawyer from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has experience as a professor, both in undergraduate and graduate studies, in charge of Arbitration and Real Rights courses. He has extensive experience in the field of commercial arbitration and investment arbitration. In the years 2017, 2018 and 2019, he was recognized among the best Peruvian referees in Leaders League, in the Leaders category. For more than a decade the Who’s Who Legal –Commercial Arbitration Magazine has recognized him year after year as one of the experts in the field of Arbitration. He is a member of the Consultative Committee of the Lima Arbitration Magazine and moderator of the ITA FORO DE ARBITRAJE LATINOAMERICANO (ITAFOR). In addition, he is a member of the SIAC (Singapore International Arbitration Center) Users Council - Peru and a member of the Panel of Arbitrators of the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). In addition to this, he works as a speaker at various national and international conferences on arbitration, contracting and investments.
