Felipe Bernardo Guillermo Florencio Portocarrero Suárez

Full Professor and Researcher at Universidad del Pacífico. He has spent nearly four decades at the service of his institution. He is a D. Phil. in Sociology from the University of Oxford, Master in Sociology with a mention in Population and a Bachelor of Social Sciences with a mention in Sociology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. He has served as a visiting Researcher affiliated with the Center of Latin American Studies at the University of Oxford, responsible Researcher at the Johns Hopkins Comparative Nonprofit Sector Project, member of the Leadership Program in Philanthropy in the Americas, director of the Leadership and Social Development Program in Latin America / Andean Region, member of the Board of Directors of the Network for the Development of Social Sciences in Peru, director of the Peruvian team of the Social Enterprise Knowledge Network (SEKN), member of the AVINA Advisory Council, visiting Researcher in the PASCA Program from Harvard University and at St. Antony's College (University of Oxford, UK), among other academic activities. He has been President (2009 - 2014), Director of the Research Center (1999 - 2004) and President of the University Press (1991 - 2014) of Universidad del Pacífico.
