Dr. Del Castillo is a full professor in the Academic Department of Management, the general director of the Graduate School and a member of the Research Center at the Universidad del Pacífico. She holds a PhD in Economic and Business Sciences from the Universidad de Deusto (Spain), an  MBA from the Instituto de Empresa (Spain), and a Licentiate in Management from the Universidad del Pacífico. Her areas of expertise are the strategic management of organizations, corporate social responsibility, and human resource management. Dr. Del Castillo is a lecturer, researcher, consultant, and author of numerous works on issues related to organization, human management, corporate social responsibility, and inclusive business.
She is a member of the international research team at the Social Enterprise Knowledge Network (SEKN) where she also led the Peruvian team for several years and served as the general coordinator. She is also a member of the Editorial Board of CLADEA-BALAS Case Consortium and has sat on the board of institutions such as the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Peru, the Peruvian Association of Human Resources (APERHU), the Ignatian Education Consortium (CONSIGNA), Ayuda en Acción, Universia, and the Consortium of Universities. 
At the Universidad del Pacífico Dr. Del Castillo has occupied various management positions, such as president, dean of the Graduate School, general manager, director of the Management Development Center, director of academic quality at the Graduate School, and head of the Academic Department of Management.
