Edisson Alonso Perez Sotelo

Mr. Perez Sotelo is a Full Professor in the Academic Department of Economics. He holds a Magister in Finance with a specialization in Investment Portfolio Management from the Universidad del Pacífico; a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from the Instituto de Matemática y Ciencias Afines–Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería; a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería; and a Bachelor of Science from the same institution.

Dr. Perez is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, an international honor society for business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). In addition, he has completed two stays at the Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada in Rio de Janeiro and has actively participated in several colloquia of the Peruvian Mathematical Society as well as the 28th Latin American Gathering of Educational Mathematics.

He has extensive experience as a teacher of different undergraduate mathematics courses. At present, Mr. Perez is Coordinator of the Mathematics Remedial Course in the Department of Economics at the Universidad del Pacífico.
