Associate Researcher at Universidad del Pacífico Research Center. Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University (United States), Bachelor’s degree and Licentiate (professional license) in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico. He has more than twenty years of experience in applied research related to agribusiness, agribusiness companies, agricultural and forestry companies, national and regional governments on issues of market analysis and international trade, biofuels and bioenergy value chains, climate change, environmental impacts and green economy. He has served as a tenured Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics at the University of Tennessee. He is currently a part-time Professor in the Department of Economics at Universidad del Pacífico, and a Professor-Researcher at the University of Tennessee. He has extensive experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
