Professional profile

Business historian, professor at the Humanities Department of the Universidad del Pacífico (Peru), member of the History and Business Group of the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) and President of the Asociación Colombiana de Historia Económica y Empresarial (ACHEE). She has a PhD in Business and Management from Queen Mary University of London (England) with a master's degree in Economic History from the London School of Economics and Political Science (England) and a bachelor's degree in economics from the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia). She is a member of the committee of Emerging Scholars Committee of the Business History Conference (BHC) and co-founder of the Business History Collective (BizHisCol) and the Red de Historia Económica Iberoamericana (RHEI). She is an associate editor of the Journal of Evolutionary Studies in Business, a member of the editorial committee of Tiempo y Economía, and a member of the external advisory board of the Anuario del Centro de Estudios Económicos de la Empresa y el Desarrollo (CEEED). She teaches and researches on Latin American business and economics history with special emphasis on the evolution of business groups, business families and women since the second half of the 20th century. Together with a group of students from the Universidad del Pacífico (Peru) and the Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) she created the Business Pills Podcast.
