Postdoctoral researcher at the Center for China and Asia-Pacific Studies of the Universidad del Pacífico and professor in the Department of Social Sciences and Politics. He completed a PhD in International Relations at Nankai University (China), a master's degree in Chinese Studies at Pompeu Fabra University (China), and a degree in History from the University of Murcia (Spain). He has taught courses including "Contemporary China: Society, Politics, and International Relations" and "Academic Research," as well as the research workshop "China-Latin America Relations: Case Studies in Economy, Politics, and Business." He has published in international journals such as European Security, Orbis, and Deusto Journal of European Studies. His research focuses on the Sino-Latin American relationship and Chinese academic perspectives on it, the triangular relationship between the European Union, China, and the United States, the global implications of China’s rise, and the foreign policy of the Asian country.
