Ana María Teresa Becerra Marsano

Professor of the Department of Social and Political Sciences, attached to the School of Economics and Finance of Universidad del Pacífico. She has a Licentiate (professional license) in Sociology from the School of Social Sciences and a second specialty in Professor Training at the School of Education, both from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. Her interests in the field of research are in business management in Micro and Small Enterprises, MSEs, and in education, with an emphasis on higher education. In previous years, she worked in the field of public management, as an official in the former Ministry of Housing and Construction, in the field related to the problem of urban housing and sanitation of the majority sectors of the country. She has worked in the research area in these aspects and in the field of national and international consulting. She has served as Chair of the Department of Social and Political Sciences, Director of Student Welfare and Development and Director of Learning and Quality Assurance (GDA as in the Spanish acronym) of this university. She has been part of the University Assembly, the University Council and the Council of the School of Business, as a Representative Professor of the Department of Social and Political Sciences.
