Professional profile

Dr. Cornejo Alvarez is a Full Professor in the Academic Department of Administration. She has a PhD in Administration from the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola, as well as an MBA, a Licentiate in Accounting, and a Bachelor's Degree in Administration from the Universidad del Pacífico.

Dr. Cornedo has been academic manager of the Executive Education Center at the Universidad del Pacifico. She is a mentor at Emprende UP and has presented at numerous conferences nationally and internationally. Her research experience centers on entrepreneurship; she has presented papers at the Latin American Council of Management Schools (CLADEA) as well as at the CERALE–ESCP Business School in Paris–France and the International Centre of Economics, Humanities, and Management in the same city.

Dr. Cornejo has also received training at Venice International University, Italy and through the Vocational Development Program for Women led by the Korean Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in Seoul. Beyond academia, she was selected as a consultant to the Entrepreneurs for Competitiveness Program developed by the IDB and the Lima Chamber of Commerce. She teaches on topics related to administration, business projects, and accounting and has given workshops on entrepreneurship, leadership, business management, and strategic planning. In the field of business, her experience pertains to the development and management of ventures in the management consulting sector. She was previously vice president of the Association of Female Entrepreneurs of Peru.
