Abstract
Purpose
This article applies the mindfulness-based view of emotion and the tripod strategy to examine how companies prioritize their vision in technological tools, specifically Business Intelligence, and how it affects the innovation process; we also evaluate the mediating effect of Network Collaboration and moderation on the part of Informality, Political Stability, and Leadership.
Design / Methodology / Approach
The study adopts a quantitative approach to analyze data from the Business Survey for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in China. The Proposed model and its relationships testing using Partialized Least Squares-Structural Equations (PLS-SEM) modeling.Originality / Value
The contributions of the study are: i) Findings from our quantitative analysis of the relationship between Business Intelligence-Innovation and the modifying effect of Network Collaboration will contribute to innovation and network literature; ii) This study contributes to the literature by exploring how the company recognizes its business environment based on the tripod strategy and how the company's vision based on attention prioritizes Business Intelligence to improve the capacity of Innovation and iii) The results from our proposed model testing in a growing economy such as China, will enrich our understanding of firm innovation strategies in emerging countries like China
